The following new CIGL by-law is the procedure
to be followed when a player takes an "X" on a hole
during a CIGL sanctioned round of golf...
Article 5, Section 2, Paragraph 8-C
"For over/under calculations, the players
score will be determined to be a score of double bogey on each hole not played
(0-15 hdcp), or a score of triple bogey on each hole not played (16-30 hdcp),
plus all strokes taken on hole prior picking up."

The USGA has added a nifty little course
handicap calculator to their web page...
Click USGA
Calculator to try it out.
If there is enough interest, I will add to the CIGL web site.
Email CIGL to let me know...

A Print Option has been added to the
Bottom of the "Home" Page
to allow printing of the Team Roster Form

A Print Option has been added to the
Constitution and By-Laws Page
to allow printing of the documents

A Print Option has been added to the
Schedule Pages
to allow printing of the Current Schedules

All captains and acting captains...
When a player has been penalized, their handicap is
automatically adjusted, and marked with an "*".
The Handicap listed IS the handicap for the day.

All CIGL open event players AND guests...
EVERYONE MUST CHECK IN
at the starters table before you start your round,
to get your handicap for the day, AND pay at least
the $2.00 blind bogey fee - including guests!

And Finally...
Your foursome's starting and ending times are
determined
when the FIRST ball is struck on the 1st tee,
and when the LAST putt drops on the 18th Green!
HONEST!.... it's in the by-laws...
Check it out! :)

A hyperlink has been added for each
golf course on the "Schedule" page.
Click on the golf course name, to link to
www.ohiogolf.org for specific information
about each course the CIGL will play this season.

1998 measuring spring-like effect. Thus, these clubs are prohibited from
use in golf competitions in the United States and Mexico conducted under USGA
rules."

ALL CIGL events are conducted under USGA
rules.
Please see the USGA web site to view the up to date list of non-conforming
